1 - 5 Points - You have some hearing loss but you should be able to function normally by paying attention. No hearing aid is required. You may want to come back and ask yourself these same questions every 6 months to see how your hearing is doing.

More than 30 Points -  You have a profound hearing loss and need to visit a medical specialist, preferably an ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat Specialist).
